What problems does swipx solve?

Everyone talks about digitization and we begin to see the first progress, but there are still a number of barriers that inhibit and slow down corporate initiatives to digitize their business processes and their entire understanding of technology. The players that haven’t gone digital yet will be affected by the constant emergence of new players with innovative solutions and business models. The IT market is now more complex than ever – for buyers and sellers of IT. I connection to that, swipx offers a new b2b cloud platform that brings order in the chaos. We want to change the way companies inform themselves and get software. At the same time, we accelerate how software companies can become visible, position as well as better sell software on the market.

This marketplace – unlike before – will provide a unique experience for both buyers and sellers in their goal to improve their business

What was your motivation for creating swipx?

The whole motivation and idea of starting swipx was the desire to drive the digitization of our society. Many companies – both big and small – struggle to pursue their business in the new age, to stay competitive and thus ensure that they also have a role to play in a society even more than before being exposed to shock and disruption.

What is your business objective?

We want to be the platform where companies can inform themselves about the market for software and SaaS solutions and thus where they find the help they need to transform their business and improve their position in the market.

What do you regard as important competition parameters in the digital age?

Speed and ability to adapt quickly and in many cases pre-configure the development that is going to happen within a company’s respective area

What are you doing in addition to swipx?

As we are a start-up, swipx obviously takes most of my time – and it will probably be such a space time in the future. However, to the extent I’m asked, I put my experience available to other start-ups / companies. When you come from the big corporate world, collaboration plays a completely different role than before and I’m excited about how many entrepreneurs are ready to help others

Do you have a hobby or passion that makes you forget about the work for a while?

I have a family that of course plays a big part in my life but I’m also happy to play sports as well as play tennis. It’s a very nice way to get a change in an otherwise busy day

How should Danish tech start-ups stand the distance from international start-ups?

We need more self-awareness and more faith in our own abilities. The others are not smarter than us. They are just many times better to sell themselves.

What do you regard as the 3 most important characteristics of the modern entrepreneur?

1) Diversity regarding culture, language, nationality.

2) Open for criticism and improvements.

3) Endurance.

Where in the world would you rather live if you were free to choose and why?

Now I / We have lived in a large number of countries and cities over a period of almost 20 years in Manhattan, New York, Sydney, Australia, Frankfurt, Germany, Zurich, Switzerland, Vienna in Austria and Brussels I no longer have the great need to live abroad. So, therefore, my boring answer sounds like we would stay in Denmark
